§ 1382. Appointment and compensation of medical inspector

(a) The board of school directors may appoint one or more medical inspectors for the schools in the town district. The compensation of such inspectors shall be fixed by the board and paid out of the funds appropriated for school purposes.

(b) In a town school district which, pursuant to the provisions of subsection (a) of this section, has medical inspection of schools, such inspection shall be continued until the school directors on their part, or the town school district, at any regular or special meeting, votes to discontinue such inspection.
