§ 109. Lists of registrations to enforcement officers and others; lists of suspensions

(a) Annually, the commissioner shall cause to be prepared a list of registered motor vehicles, arranged serially according to the registration numbers assigned thereto which shall contain in addition the names and addresses of registered owners and a brief description of the vehicle registered, and the name and address of each person to whom is assigned a dealer's registration number. One copy of such list shall be furnished, in such form as the commissioner may determine, free to each inspector of the motor vehicle department, sheriff, state's attorney, district judge and police department in the state. The list may be also furnished to any person on request and upon the payment of the required fee.

(b) Each month, the commissioner shall cause to be prepared a list of all persons whose operating license, nonresident operating privileges, or privilege of an unlicensed operator to operate a vehicle, is suspended or revoked in this state at the time the list is prepared. Names on the list shall be arranged by county of residence or zip code. Notwithstanding chapter 5 of subchapter 3 of Title 1, the list shall be available on request in such form as the commissioner may determine. The list shall be available in an electronic format for law enforcement officers with computer access through the department of public safety.
