§ 10.1-1128. Acquisition and administration.
Each county, city and town acting through its governing body, is authorizedto acquire by purchase, gift or bequest tracts of land suitable for thegrowth of trees and to administer the same, as well as any lands now owned byany such locality and suitable for the growth of trees, as county, city ortown forests.
