§ 10.1-1501. Commissioners and alternates.
The Governor shall appoint two Commissioners and two alternates pursuant toArticle IV, paragraph a. of the Compact, subject to confirmation by theGeneral Assembly, to serve at his pleasure. The appointees shall beindividuals qualified and experienced in the field of low-level radioactivewaste generation, treatment, storage, transportation and disposal.
