§ 12.1-17. Deposits of funds; receipts for payment.
A. All funds received by the Commission in the course of its duties shall bepaid promptly to the State Treasurer or deposited promptly in banksdesignated by the State Treasurer to the credit of the State Treasurer.
Any penalties received by the Commission under § 2.2-614.1 shall be used todefray the expenses incurred by the Commission in the collection of suchpayments, and shall be in addition to the regular appropriation made by theGeneral Assembly.
B. The Commission shall issue receipts for all currency received for paymentsin the course of its duties.
