§ 15.2-2616. Interim receipts or temporary bonds exchangeable for definitivebonds.

Before the preparation of definitive bonds, the governing body of a localitymay, subject to the same provisions of this chapter as are applicable to theissuance of definitive bonds, issue interim receipts or temporary bonds,exchangeable for definitive bonds when such bonds have been executed and areavailable for delivery.
