§ 19.2-371. Signing and swearing to information.

If the proceeding be instituted by an informer, he shall sign and swear tothe information. The attorney for the Commonwealth also shall sign it, but ifthe law on which the proceeding is based contains no provisions as toinformers, the signature of the attorney for the Commonwealth alone shall besufficient.
