§ 19.2-115. Nonwaiver by this Commonwealth.

Nothing in this chapter contained shall be deemed to constitute a waiver bythis Commonwealth of its right, power or privilege to try such demandedperson for crime committed within this Commonwealth, or of its right, poweror privilege to regain custody of such person by extradition proceedings orotherwise for the purpose of trial, sentence or punishment for any crimecommitted within this Commonwealth, nor shall any proceedings had under thischapter which result in, or fail to result in, extradition be deemed a waiverby this Commonwealth of any of its rights, privileges or jurisdiction in anyway whatsoever.
