§ 2.2-105. Appointments to office; effect of refusal to confirm by theGeneral Assembly.

No person appointed to any office by the Governor, whose appointment issubject to confirmation by the General Assembly, shall enter upon, orcontinue in, office after the General Assembly has refused to confirm hisappointment. Nor shall such person be eligible for reappointment during therecess of the General Assembly to fill the vacancy caused by the refusal toconfirm.
