§ 2.2-2636. Filing with Council deemed filing with other state agencies.
Filing of a written complaint with the Council shall be deemed filing withany state agency for the purpose of complying with any time limitation on thefiling of a complaint, provided the time limit for filing with the otheragency has not expired. The time limit for filing with other agencies shallbe tolled while the Council is either investigating the complaint or making adecision to refer it. Complaints under this article shall be filed with theCouncil within 180 days of the alleged discriminatory event.
