§ 22.1-57. Effective date for formation of board.
The effective date for the formation of any school division to which theprovisions of this article are applicable and the school board thereof andthe supervision and operation of the schools in the school division by suchschool board shall be as of the first day of July of a school year, and theschool board or boards as then constituted in the school division shall ceaseto exist in such school division as of such effective date.
