§ 24.2-113. Special assistant registrars.

The general registrar of any city or county may appoint as a specialassistant registrar any person who, although not being a qualified voter ofsuch city or county, has served continuously for more than ten years in theoffice of the registrar of such city or county as an assistant registrar. Thecompensation of any such special assistant registrar shall be fixed and paidby the local governing body.
