§ 28.2-106.1. Patrol and enforcement of federal safety zones and restrictedareas.
Pursuant to federal authorization or upon request from a federal agency, theVirginia Marine Police, conservation police officers of the Department ofGame and Inland Fisheries, and the marine patrol divisions of policedepartments located in Tidewater Virginia may patrol and enforce all federalsecurity zones, federal safety zones, and federal restricted areas locatedwithin the tidal waters of the Commonwealth.
