§ 28.2-1316. Investigations and prosecutions.
The Commission may investigate all projects, whether proposed or ongoing,which alter wetlands. The Commission may prosecute all violations of anyorder, rule, or regulation of the Commission or of a wetlands board, orviolation of any provision of this chapter. Wetlands boards may investigateall projects, whether proposed or ongoing, which alter wetlands locatedwithin their jurisdiction. Wetlands boards may prosecute all violations oftheir orders and any violation of the wetlands zoning ordinance under whichthey were established.
