§ 32.1-11.3. Patient and community health education services.
The Board shall formulate a program of patient and community health educationservices to be provided by the Department on a regional, district, or localbasis. The program shall include services addressing health promotion anddisease prevention and shall encourage the coordination of local and privatesector health education services. This program shall include information onthe causes, prevention, early detection, and treatment of osteoporosis.
