§ 32.1-127.001. Certain design and construction standards to be incorporatedin hospital and nursing home licensure regulations.
Notwithstanding any law or regulation to the contrary, the Board of Healthshall promulgate regulations pursuant to § 32.1-127 for the licensure ofhospitals and nursing homes that shall include minimum standards for thedesign and construction of hospitals, nursing homes, and certified nursingfacilities consistent with the current edition of the Guidelines for Designand Construction of Hospital and Health Care Facilities issued by theAmerican Institute of Architects Academy of Architecture for Health.
