§ 32.1-174.4. Identification and elimination of chronically noncompliantwaterworks.
A. The Board shall promulgate regulations for the implementation of a programto (i) identify chronically noncompliant waterworks as defined in § 32.1-167and (ii) create mechanisms or enforcement options for eliminating chronicallynoncompliant waterworks.
B. Out of such funds as may be appropriated, the Commissioner of Health, withthe assistance of the Office of the Attorney General, is authorized to enterinto contracts for (i) the design of a program for the identification ofnoncompliant waterworks and (ii) the development of enforcement options tocarry out the provisions of this act.
