§ 38.2-1443. Investment of amounts allocated to separate accounts forvariable life insurance and variable annuities.

The amounts allocated to separate accounts for variable life insurance andvariable annuities, pursuant to the provisions of § 38.2-3113, andaccumulations on them, may be invested and reinvested by a domestic insurerin any type of Category 1 investment. Any percentage limitations based onthe insurer's total admitted assets or surplus to policyholders shall notapply to investments made pursuant to this section.
