§ 38.2-1857.6. Accepting and placing surplus lines business.
No surplus lines broker shall accept surplus lines business from any personother than an applicant for insurance or a duly licensed property or casualtyinsurance agent, nor shall such surplus lines broker compensate any personother than a duly licensed property or casualty insurance agent for suchbusiness. No person other than an applicant for insurance or a duly licensedproperty or casualty insurance agent shall place surplus lines business witha surplus lines broker licensed under this chapter nor shall any person otherthan a duly licensed property or casualty insurance agent accept compensationfor such business.
