40.1-9 - How Department maintained.

§ 40.1-9. How Department maintained.

The Department shall be maintained from such appropriations as the GeneralAssembly may make for the purpose. The compensation of the Commissioner andof all other employees of the Department shall be fixed and paid inaccordance with law.
