§ 46.2-680. Vehicles transporting oyster shells.
No person shall be required to obtain the registration certificates, licenseplates and decals, or to pay any registration fee for any motor vehicleproperly registered in Maryland and used for the purpose of hauling oystershells for a distance of less than three miles on a public highway of thisCommonwealth to navigable waters to be further transported by water toMaryland.
