§ 53.1-205. Jurisdiction for trial of prisoners; nature of proceedings.
Subject to the provisions of §§ 53.1-203 and 53.1-204, the jurisdiction,proceedings, trial and judgment in a criminal proceeding against a personconfined in a state correctional facility shall be as is provided for inother cases of criminal prosecution.
