§ 6.1-194.19. (Repealed effective October 1, 2010) Audit of association;report.

The directors of every savings institution shall, at least once in eachcalendar year, cause an independent audit by a certified public accountant tobe made of the institution, its operation and its general books of account.The report of such audit shall be presented to the institution's board ofdirectors at its next regular meeting after completion of the audit. Theminutes of such meeting shall reflect that the audit report was presented andreviewed by the board, and a copy of the audit report shall be filed with theBureau of Financial Institutions within two weeks from the date such reportis received by the institution from the auditor.
