§ 6.2-847. (Effective October 1, 2010) Notice of subsequent merger or othertransaction.
An out-of-state state bank that maintains a branch in the Commonwealth underthis article shall give 30 days' prior written notice of any merger,consolidation, or other transaction involving the bank which would cause theVirginia branch to be maintained by another bank.
