§ 63.2-524. Denial of benefits upon finding of fraudulent acts.
Any individual applying for or receiving benefits under the federal FoodStamp program or the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program may bedenied such benefits in accordance with federal law if such person is foundby a court or pursuant to an administrative hearing to have intentionally (i)made a false or misleading statement or misrepresented, concealed or withheldfacts, or (ii) committed any act intended to mislead, misrepresent, concealor withhold facts or propound a falsity, for the purpose of establishing ormaintaining eligibility for such benefits.
The Board is authorized to adopt regulations governing conduct ofadministrative hearings and denial of benefits authorized by this section.
