229.477 Dissolution of a district. Subject to providing for the payment of its bonds, including interest on the bonds, and the performance of its other contractual obligations, a district may be dissolved by the joint action of the district's board of directors and sponsoring municipality. If the district is dissolved, the property of the district shall be transferred to its sponsoring municipality. If the district was created by more than one sponsoring municipality, the municipalities shall agree on the apportioning of the district's property before the district may be dissolved.229.477 - ANNOT.
