§ 433. Temporary continuation of incumbent deputy directors
A person serving as the Deputy Director of a facility of the Retirement Home on the day before December 28, 2001, may continue to serve, at the pleasure of the Secretary of Defense, as the Deputy Director until the date on which a Deputy Director is appointed for that facility under section
417 of this title, except that the service in that position may not continue under this section after December 31, 2004.
