§ 888. Definitions
When used in this Act, unless the context otherwise requires, the terms “person”, “vessel”, “documented under the laws of the United States”, and “citizen of the United States” shall have the meaning assigned to them by sections
801,
802, and
803 of this Appendix; and the term “alien” means any person not a citizen of the United States.
