§ 1711. Subpenas and discovery
(a)
In general
In investigations and adjudicatory proceedings under this chapter—
(1)
depositions, written interrogatories, and discovery procedures may be utilized by any party under rules and regulations issued by the Commission that, to the extent practicable, shall be in conformity with the rules applicable in civil proceedings in the district courts of the United States; and
(b)
Witness fees
Witnesses shall, unless otherwise prohibited by law, be entitled to the same fees and mileage as in the courts of the United States.
