Election commissioner, qualifications of.
115.031. Each election commissioner shall be a registeredvoter and a resident of the jurisdiction for which he is appointedfor at least one year preceding his appointment. During his termof office, no commissioner shall hold any statutory position withina political party or on a political committee, be a candidate forpolitical office or hold any other public office.
