Notice of runoff election published, when.
115.521. Except as provided in subsection 2 of section115.023, each election authority receiving a proclamationordering a special election to decide a tie vote shall causelegal notice of the election to be published once in the fourteendays prior to the election. The notice shall be published in anewspaper of general circulation in the election authority'sjurisdiction and shall include the date and time of the election,the name of the officer or agency calling the election and asample ballot. The election authority may provide any additionalnotice of the election it deems desirable.
