Records to be corrected to reflect judgment.
115.589. Each court or legislative body authorized todetermine contested elections shall hear and determine eachcontest at the earliest opportunity after the officialannouncement of the results of the election has been made. Uponcompletion of the procedures provided for in this subchapter, thecourt or legislative body shall render its judgment based uponthe issues of law and fact and cause a certified copy of itsjudgment to be transmitted to each affected election authorityand to the secretary of state. Each election authority to whicha copy of the judgment is sent and the secretary of state shallcorrect their records to conform to the judgment.
