Public funds expenditure by political subdivision officer oremployee, prohibited--personal appearances permitted.
115.646. No contribution or expenditure of public fundsshall be made directly by any officer, employee or agent of anypolitical subdivision to advocate, support, or oppose any ballotmeasure or candidate for public office. This section shall notbe construed to prohibit any public official of a politicalsubdivision from making public appearances or from issuing pressreleases concerning any such ballot measure.
