§ 1941. Congressional declaration of policy
It is declared that disposal of the Government-owned rubber-producing facilities pursuant to the provisions of this Act [sections
1941 to
1941y of this Appendix] is consistent with the national security and will further effectuate the policy set forth in section 2 of the Rubber Act of 1948, as amended (62 Stat. 101, 50 App. U.S.C. 1921), with respect to the development within the United States of a free, competitive, synthetic rubber industry.
