FCC v. Fox Television Stations

Case Date: 04/28/2009

FCC v. Fox Television Stations (2009) is a 2009 legal case in which the United States Supreme Court upheld regulations of the Federal Communications Commission that ban "fleeting expletives" on television broadcasts, finding they were not arbitrary and capricious under the Administrative Procedure Act. The Constitutional issue, however, was not resolved and was remanded back to the Second Circuit.
